Carl Froch names the fight for Anthony Joshua that he believes is '50/50'

Carl Froch believes that a heavyweight contest between Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, bitter rivals, is hard to call.  

The former world champion at 168lbs has been very vocal on Joshua in recent months and although the 2012 Olympic champion would be favoured to beat Whyte, ‘The Cobra’ isn't so sure. 

The pair first met as professionals in 2015 and it was Joshua who claimed victory with a brutal seventh-round stoppage.  

Since then, both men have enjoyed plenty of successes and failures and a meeting between the two, which is speculated for this year, would see the victor in a good position to push on for a world title. 

Although bookmakers favour Joshua to repeat his victory, Froch insists the bout would be a close fight to call. 

“I think it’s probably, at this stage, a 50/50 fight and a pick ’em winner,” said Froch when speaking on his YouTube channel.
