Tyson Fury explains why he is 'terrified' ahead of Oleksandr Usyk undisputed fight

WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has revealed that he is frightened about his preparations for his undisputed heavyweight title fight against Oleksandr Usyk.

The pair will finally meet for all four world heavyweight titles on May 18 live on DAZN PPV in Riyadh after the original fight date of February 17 was cancelled after Fury picked up a deep cut in sparring.

Following a successful recovery, Fury is back in training but when speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, the British fighter admitted that there were some concerns over his condition ahead of what will be the biggest fight of his career.

"I’m actually frightened of where I am at the moment and that’s a fact," Fury told TNT Sports.

"I’m actually terrified of where I am at the moment because I’m ready to go this weekend and I’ve got five more weekends to go.

"Like Sugar said, the thing is not doing loads of training, it’s to do less because I’m ready.

"If I peak too soon, then I will come down with an illness or whatever and then it’s all f—d."
