Born in 1966 in London, England, he turned professional in 1985 after a steady amateur career, and quickly built a reputation for his strong chin and headstrong bouts.

Eubank Sr. is a two-weight world champion, holding WBO middleweight and super middleweight titles during tenures between 1990 and 1995.

Chris Eubank Sr. contested 52 fights as a professional, recording 45 wins, with 23 knockouts, five losses and two draws across the length of his career in the ring.

His statement victories included his iconic win over Benn in their first encounter, when he won the WBO middleweight title, and two wins over Michael Watson.

He drew with Benn in their second bout, and ended his career with three losses, including against the rising Joe Calzaghe for the WBO super middleweight crown.
