Oscar De La Hoya names the unified world champion who could be next for Oleksandr Usyk and it's not a heavyweight fighter
Published: Nov 17, 2024Is Oleksandr Usyk pondering a return to cruiserweight following his heavyweight title rematch with Tyson Fury on December 21? Oscar De La Hoya certainly thinks so and he’s hopeful that Gilberto Ramirez will be in the opposite corner after his fighter defeated Chris Billam-Smith to unify two world titles. Ramirez was in impressive form as he dominated the brave British fighter over the 12-round distance on the Latino Night show in Saudi Arabia. The win is expected to be a platform for Ramirez to push and compete in bigger fights and a showdown with Usyk could be an option.
