Nigel Benn is a British boxer who fought primarily at middleweight and super middleweight, and is the father of current boxer Conor Benn.

Born in 1964 in London, England, he turned professional in 1987 and embarked on a sterling decade-plus career that saw him reign in multiple weight divisions.

Benn is a two-time world champion, holding the WBO middleweight title in 1990 and the WBC super middleweight title between 1992 and 1996.

Nigel Benn contested 48 fights as a professional, recording 42 wins, with 35 knockouts, five losses and one draw across the length of his career.

That draw remains arguably the most iconic of his career, when he was held to a controversial standstill by Chris Eubank Sr. at Old Trafford in their rematch.

Benn lost their first encounter, but recorded several statement wins across his time in the ring, including over Iran Barkley, Thulani Malinga, and Gerald McClellan.
