Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn - What music will the fighters walk out to?

It’s not long until Chris Eubank and Conor Benn make their long-awaited ringwalks for their fascinating encounter.

The pair will clash on April 26, live on DAZN PPV, and their grand entrances will be a big part of what promises to be an explosive evening.

Here, DAZN News looks at the entrance music that could be chosen by both fighters.

What entrance music will Chris Eubank Jr walk out to?

The choice made by Eubank Jr is likely to be Dr Dre’s iconic track, Still D.R.E. that was the first single from the rapper’s 1999 album, 2001.

With a thumping introduction, the track is one of hip hop’s most iconic beats and it went a long way to restoring Dre’s standing in the music industry at the end of the 1990s.

Eubank Jr has used the song for the bulk of his recent career after originally using his father’s walkout theme, Simply the best by Tina Turner in the early stages of his professional run.

Will this well-known anthem provide Eubank Jr with an added buzz on his way to the ring? We are about to find out.

What entrance music will Conor Benn walk out to?

For Conor Benn’s entrance, there is a big possibility that 1990s hip hop could be the theme for the night with the Fugees’ Ready or not being used as his song.

Their 1996 album, The Score, featured many classics as Lauryn Hill, Pras and Wyclef Jean delivered a classic that has passed the test of time.

Ready or not was a commercial success upon release and it was sometimes used in WCW by Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

Benn has made the song a central part of his character and it seems certain that it will play over the Tottenham Hotspur stadium when he makes his entrance.

What has happened between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn?

The rivalry between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn was originally built as a generational beef, tracing its roots back to the legendary two-fight series between their fathers.

Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn met in two blockbuster bouts over three decades ago, with the former winning their first fight before a controversial split draw in the second.

At the time they were booked to meet in 2022 at London's The O2 Arena, it was the legacy of their parents that loomed as the driving factor behind their growing rivalry.

But when the fight was pulled at short notice due to an adverse finding for Benn, the antagonism between the two began to further simmer as their deal broke down.

Even as both men have moved onto other fighters, their relationship has continued to twist violently and the prospect of a grudge match on their own terms seemed likely.

The eventual agreement, after Benn confronted Eubank Jr. in the ring following the latter's win against Kamil Szeremeta last October, removed the final stumbling blocks.

Matters came to a boil at a February press event in Manchester, when Eubank Jr. slapped Benn across the face with an egg, further amplifying the animosity between them.
