Who's the heavyweight being lined up for Oleksandr Usyk following Tyson Fury talks?

Oleksandr Usyk was in talks to defend his world titles against Daniel Dubois whilst negotiating an undisputed battle with Tyson Fury.  

With a Fury fight possible for the end of April, Usyk’s primary focus was on that date but with the agreement becoming problematic, it has been revealed that a contest against Dubois was discussed. 

The WBA regular champion, Dubois is in an ideal position to face Usyk with the Ukrainian seemingly a man in demand due to holding three belts.  

With his next move undecided, one option we know won’t be facing Usyk is Fury after discussions collapsed. Could we see Dubois get that shot? Well, it’s a topic that’s already been mentioned. 

“I won’t jump in the emails to read out our conversations, but we started to discuss the Dubois fight with George Warren several days before Tyson went out on Instagram," said Alex Krassyuk when speaking to iD Boxing. 

"No one knew, it was his own decision, he didn’t inform Queensberry about that. So, he just jumps in, bluffing. Usyk calls his bluff, now he has to keep his word, but if you don’t want to keep your word you will try to find the way out. What’s how we take this situation.”
