Former world champion 'ready' to face Daniel Dubois next, claims Andy Lee

IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois is a man in demand.

He has quickly become a big name player in the heavyweight division after his impressive knockout win against Anthony Joshua in September.

Dubois' success disrupted the heavyweight scene and now he will be keeping a close eye on the December 21 rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, live on DAZN PPV, in the hope of landing an undisputed title bid.

It initially looked like Dubois would be facing Joshua next in a rematch on February 22, these plans appear to have gone lukewarm with promoter Eddie Hearn claiming that Joshua will not be ready.

Despite Joshua's absence, it looks like Dubois could still be fighting on February 22, and a number of opponents are being linked to a meeting with "Dynamite" including British heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley.

Another fighter looking to thrust himself into the world title picture is former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, and in a post on X, his trainer Andy Lee stated that his man is ready to step up.

"Parker is ready," Lee wrote.

Since being knocked out by Joe Joyce two years ago, Parker has enjoyed a career resurgence, and after impressive wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang in the past year, is now in a prime position to challenge for major titles once again.
