'Without the masks!' - Tommy Fury likens Jake Paul-Mike Tyson bout to 'bank robbery'

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson's fight was "unbelievable" from a business perspective, believes Tommy Fury, who compared the fight to a bank robbery in its success.

The Problem Child defeated The Baddest Man on the Planet at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas last Friday night, securing a victory by unanimous decision.

The clash failed to live up to what many had hoped amid the pre-fight hype, with the 27-year-old Paul effectively toying with Iron Mike, more than three decades his senior.

Fury, who handed Paul his only professional career loss to date when the pair met last year, felt the bout achieved its main aim, but acknowledged it did not deliver on all fronts.

"Business-wise, it's unbelievable," he told The Stomping Ground. "I ain't a guy to hate on other people. It was a great commercial success, both men got paid.

"Nobody got hurt. Fantastic. But for the fans and everyone who thought it was going to be a fight, not including me, I'm sure that it is a letdown for them.

"If someone's making that level of money and not walking out with a scratch, you've done something right. Whatever it is, it's a success, [a bank robbery] without the masks."

Fury is set to return to the ring himself next January when he faces Darren Till for Misfits Boxing at Manchester's Co-op Live on January 18, live exclusively on DAZN.
