Is Hasim Rahman Jr interested in a re-arranged fight with Jake Paul?

Hasim Rahman Jr has casted some doubt as to whether he will ever meet Jake Paul in a boxing match.

Rahman Jr was originally set to face Paul on August 6, 2022 at Madison Square Garden after Tommy Fury was forced to pullout due to visa issues. However, seven days before the fight, it was announced that Rahman Jr had withdrawn from the contest due to weight issues.

Since then Rahman Jr has ventured into the world of crossover boxing, while Paul suffered his first loss to Tommy Fury last February.

Now 'The Problem Child' hopes to bounce back when he faces Nate Diaz on August 5 live on DAZN PPV, but if Paul was to emerge victorious, Rahman Jr believes there are still number of obstacles he will need to navigate in order to make the fight.

"Jake Paul during the promotion for our fight kept saying that this is a step up from Tommy Fury," Rahman Jr told The DAZN Boxing Show.

"Then that fight got cancelled and he turns around and reverts back to the Tommy Fury fight and loses.

"Now to get to the level you said I was at, you’ve got to past Tommy Fury, so not only does he have to get past Nate Diaz, but he has to write his s—t with Tommy Fury and then he may have to beat him again.

"Beating Nate Diaz, beating Tommy Fury twice then maybe we can see it, but I honestly don’t think he’s on my level, I don’t think he will get to that level he said I was at."
