AEW All In London 2024: Bryan Danielson defeats Swerve Strickland for world title

Bryan  Danielson's professional wrestling career will continue.

Danielson faced Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium on Sunday with much more than just a belt on the line. "The American Dragon" defended his right to fight on in a "Title vs. Career" match, with Strickland risking his belt while Danielson battled to continue his time in the ring.

A brutal match ensued between the two combatants, as Strickland took everything that Danielson could come up with and dished it back in kind. Eventually, Danielson was bloodied and had to fight with his face a bright crimson hue while his wife, former WWE Superstar Brie Bella, and two young children watched on from the front row.

Things didn't look too good for Danielson until an attempted run-in by "Hangman" Adam Page was thwarted by security but served as enough of a distraction to Strickland for the challenger to turn the tides and, eventually, lock in the winning submission hold.
