NFL announces Week 11 AFC and NFC players of the week

On Wednesday, the NFL announced the players of the week for the AFC and NFC in Week 11.

AFC

Offense: Bo Nix, Denver Broncos

The Broncos rookie earned his first Player of the Week honour after a dominant performance in Denver's 38-6 win over the Atlanta Hawks. Nix threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions on 28 of 33 passing, for a 145.0 rating in Week 11.

Defense: Terrel Bernard, Buffalo Bills

The linebacker made the interception that cemented Buffalo's massive 30-21 victory over the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Bernard also recorded eight tackles and a sack to earn his second Player of the Week nod.

Special teams: Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers

Kickers are very important to NFL teams, and Boswell confirmed his significance in Pittsburgh's 18-16 win against the Baltimore Ravens. 

Boswell scored all 18 of the Steelers' points in the game, going 6-for-6 on field goal attempts.

NFC

Offense: Tayson Hill, New Orleans Saints

Hill was influential in New Orleans' 35-14 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 11, scoring three rushing touchdowns from 188 scrimmage yards.

The tight end was is the first non-running back in league history to record at least 125 rushing yards and three rushing TDs in a single game. Oh, and he also had 42 kick return yards and 18 passing yards.

Defense: Kamren Kinchens, Los Angeles Rams

The rookie safety was everywhere on defense for the Rams in their 28-22 victory against the New England Patriots, with eight tackles, an interception, a tackle for loss and forced fumble.

Kinchens now has two Player of the Week awards, having earned a Week 9 nod as well.

Special teams: Karl Brooks, Green Bay Packers

Brooks was the player who made the game-winning field goal block in Green Bay's 20-19 win against the Chicago Bears, earning him his first POTW award.
